Young women going after older men.

Does this happen? Is there a young woman on DU who prefers older men to their peer group? (Other than for their resources - AHEM.)

Honestly, the idea of dating a guy my age (I'm 25) sounds almost like child molestation. I just don't find them interesting to talk to or even slightly attractive. Nothing against them, it's just that they're boys and I prefer men.

I'm tired of working my ass off. :evilgrin:

I tried dating a 20-something last year. Together we were fine and I sure didn't mind the arm candy, plus we had lots of common interests. But once we were around friends it was either my friends or hers. The twain never matched up. Her friends were kind of boring (mid-20s people talk about the stupidest shit) and my friends were, well, not condescending, but a little standoffish.

Also, I got freaked out when my 16 year old daughter started chatting about favorite J-Pop bands with my girlfriend. I didn't even know what J-Pop was!

Romance is nice and everything, but I'm more interested in a compatable relationship. At least in this case age made a difference in whether we could have a rewarding social life. Maybe I should call her mom

Now I like 'em 5 to 10 years younger. :evilgrin: Somebodies gotta keep me awake.
