In 50 words or less (or more) Why should you not be a DU moderator?
My answer is EASY. I'm far too prejudiced about my beliefs. Even though I'm 52 and relatively mature, I really fear I could not really be fair to Greens or independents. My personal prejudices mean too much to me to let me be a good mod. Also, I have strong ties to one particular potential candidate (Wes Clark) that makes me totally unfit to be a dispassionate observer.

To all moderators, current, former and future: You guys rock! In my several years here I've NEVER felt abused by a moderator.

Thank you for being such class acts.

I still do not have an internet connection (or working computer) at home, so I only post from work. I wouldn't be able to devote the time required.

Cultural things. If someone says "Wes Clark is a moron" then I would not know if Wes Clark is a democratic politician or a right-wing pundit.
