1. it looks like jeffery (neck-boy) might get bounced...
for not doing his own sewing...

tune in next week to find out.

btw- bravo will probably re-run the episode a hundred or so times before next week anyway.

2. How about at the previews for next week, was Jeffrey boohooing
because he was relieved or boohooing because he got caught?

3. After watching the marathon , Jeffrey is not that bad.
And I actually like his green and white zipper dress. I like him because sometimes we have to be our own cheerleaders.

6. vincent was his own cheerleader...
what's your opinion of him and his..."work"?

15. If nobody likes your work you have to like it your self
Vincent should have been gone after the basket hat. I was like WTF.

And he is so turned on - ohmigosh.

7. If it was just Laura
I'd suspect mindgames. But with Michael and Uli saying the same thing, and Jeffrey's kind of atypical-Jeffrey's response...well, it looks suspicious.

Although his defense that when he has the time, he can sew 'better than perfect' makes sense.

But then there's the fact that they were all pressed for time.

And he's a dick.

But it's a perfect way for the producers to get mileage out of a cliffhanger.

So it can go either way.

But I'd bet he cheated.

11. My jaw hit the floor...
when I saw that.

I work in a huge warehouse building that houses professional sewing services, clothing design studios, and a couture designer who sells to Neiman Marcus.

Jeffrey's space was a space of a professional who has workers doing production on site. It would have been ridiculously easy for him to have someone working on his garments at many stages, from cutting to sewing. Even if he only had someone cutting for him, he would have saved a buttload of time in those three months.

I don't think they'll be able to prove it, but I think he had help.

19. it was only TWO months...
and when tim flounced by for a visit, jeff had very little actually accomplished, with not much time left before the show.

9. I think he had help...
but the producers will not be able to prove it. Jeffrey wouldn't be stupid enough to submit a receipt for such work -- they were going to look through his receipts to find evidence of wrong doing.

The tears we saw are tears of joy at not being busted.

13. Proving it would be tough
but not improbable. The high fashion industry is a pretty tightly-knit (get it?) community. It's not tiny, by any means, but it's still pretty closed. Then you can limit the pool of skilled labor by geography--LA. You can also shrink that pool with the fact that he wouldn't just turn to anyone. In fact, he'd turn to the same people that would normally work--or hope to work--for somebody like Michael Kors, or people who've gone to Parsons, where Tim is pretty well-respected (I've got a friend who went there and studied under him).

He'd have to find somebody that'd be willing to risk burning a current or future relationship with some pretty important folks to help out a designer that may or may not become big.

He could also have done something completely braindead like forgetting to buy the thread for those leather pants. Why buy thread you're never going to use?

It could all be moot. Maybe he really did all of it, or maybe he found people that wouldn't spill the beans. Maybe he sent the clothes out through a surrogate (although if I was a producer, the first thing I'd do is take pictures of his collection and send them out to the right people in LA, asking if anybody worked on these clothes).

So it'd be difficult, but I don't think it'd be impossible to sniff it out. 'Course there's always the chance that he actually did do all the craftsmanship by himself.

20. he already has a line of his own, and presumably...
judging by the workspace- people who work for/with him.
considering how little he had done when Tim came by for his visit, and with little time left, it's hard to believe that it was ALL him...

BUT-

lacking any real proof, you have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

10. Not once has any of the finalists showed up to the final event...
...and had nothing to do

And remember when Tim was there TWO WEEKS before the final show, Jeffrey didn't have much of anything to show except two dresses. Hell at Four week both Laura and Uli and the base of their collection completed

12. That's right...
I'd forgotten the only design of Jeffrey's in LA we saw was the zipper number, and that was two weeks before returning to NYC.

Did Jeffrey show at Fashion Week? Does anyone know?

16. Yes
Jeffrey Sebelia showed at Bryant Park. The photos are available on Yahoo.

In case you're interested, Laura has since stated that she was encouraged by producers to make a big deal about her claims. Sebelia says they are now friends and even watched the reunion show together. Hardly sounds like he got bumped from the competition to me.

Sebelia used to make his living hand sewing leather garments for celebrities. Is it really that hard to believe that his leather pants would be near to perfect? Celebrities don't buy shittily made clothing and leather was his preferred medium.

Lots of inside dirt here: http://bloggingprojectrunway.blogspot.com/

22. well, there you go
no more reality show cliff-hangers as long as we've got the internet. I'm he were going to be bounced they'd have shown scenes of him twirling around and jumping for joy. The crying showed me that he was't booted. How on earth do they expect to keep something as photographed as fashion week a secret anyway.

21. I really like Jeffrey and suspect this is manufactured drama.
The cliff-hanger made it seem like they were going to bounce him, but I researched this on the internets and he did show his line.

I think they have four strong competitors and the finale should be exciting.
