that was too dense to be rain. :cry:

I fear that it's about that time for us in NW Missouri as well. What happened to fall? Literally a week and a half ago, it was in the mid-80s. :(

4. sometimes it's that way here too

in a lot of recent years we haven't even had any snow at christmas...which is unusual

but as an update the sun just came out! and the sky is an unbelievably beautiful blue

air conditioning at the library here in Ft. Myers, Florida -- it's 89 degrees and HUMID! The sun is broiling. I'm a prisoner in the pool each morning and in air conditioning until nightfall -- when I go back in the pool!

This is one of the reasons I like to say, "Florida is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live here." Not after the 28 years I DID live here...I'm a cold weather gal who was "kidnapped" to from Pennsylvania and taken to Florida at age 3 by my parents!

Stay calm, sweetie -- it should warm up after this first blast of cold, right?

Indian Summer for the Midwest, anyone?

I miss it so bad here in bland, seasonless middle of nowhere flatland next to a city that thinks it's hot shit but is just some big nightmare superwalmart of a metropolitan area.

I want back in my mountains where you can see panther tracks in the snow.

Send me some snow, I'll take it.
