I've finally made it to Boston
All unpacked, got the internet finally working today. Life is pretty good.

What is it with the lack of street signs? I swear, it's amazing anyone can find their way around this town.

My street sign has been stolen 14 times in the last 8 years.

2. Every College Room in Boston has Street signs - and there are 40k kids
But the streets are logical - laid out by paving the cowpaths of long ago

Good Luck!

6. The Boston streets are logical if you think like a cow,
That is what I do and it works wonders. It also helps if you MOO loudly at pedestrians as you drive past them.

Just drive along going Moooooo, Mooooo, out the window, next thing you know all the streets start making sense. At times I did find myself lying down at the curb, but only if it was going to rain.

Just try it, it really works.

3. I can't drive in Boston, would rather drive in NYC
or LA for that matter! Big Dig! Rude drivers with multitudinous dents in their cars!! AAAGGG...but it is a wonderful place to walk around in!!!

5. Welcome!
The streets can be so bad that I don't think signs would help you.

7. Consider selling you car
and signing up for a ZipCar for longer trips. If you live in the city, then walking and the T are the most rewarding ways to get around.

8. Take the T
One of the best things about Boston is that the T is used by everyone. Combined with the commuter rails, you really don't need a car for much.

9. No matter how much us Bostonians complain
The T is still the cheapest and widest public transportation system in the nation.
