Just do something that you enjoy. If you're enjoying yourself then a woman might enter the picture and make a good night even better, just don't count on it and have fun no matter what happens.

1. I am attracted to women and have not been with one. How do I know it will not be fulfilling?

2. I've existed for 34 years. I've always wanted a relationship; to build a life and work with a honest, decent person. All the gay men looking for one (the churchgoing phonies) were either taken or I was never good enough (never given a chance either). All the others chided, derided, and mocked me for wanting to make a life with somebody else or just wanted a roll in the hay. The bi guy was the best, who complimented me then said I should try going with a woman (that was 4 years, 9 months ago.)

3. I nixed this one because it ventures into "TMI territory". But there are other factors (and, no, I do not have any nasty diseases, so that's not the reason.)

In short, it's going to take one hell of a man to get me interested again. I'm too old and too hurt for stupid little games gay men play. The gay sex isn't fulfilling anymore either. Without love (which is about pleasing the partner, not one's self), there is no point either. And with men it's all about the image.

There was one guy who did call back; I think he figured out over the last 6 years, 1 month, 2 and a half weeks how most gay men are too. If only he called back even one year ago, no doubt things would be different, probably. Probably. Life is about change and I need to change.

Try out different approaches. What works for some guys won't work for others. Some swear by taking their dog with them, since ladies will want to come up and pet the dog. Some guys can defy logic and pick up women while wearing a t-shirt with a howling wolf and lightning on it. Some guys can showcase their shyness.

My only advice is to not act self-defeating or seem bitter. Your mindset and "aura" need to be going in a positive direction. I'm convinced that's the key to getting postive attention.
