this cartoon has too much text. For *me* cartoons should be a quick and easy read, if they get overloaded with text, I lose interest in rading them, partly I think because it becomes difficult for the artist to fit all the text into the cartoon, as evidenced in this sample, by the fact that your text blocks don't fit within the panels.
