Nat King Cole's version of "The Christmas Song", for example.
Brenda Lee "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree".
David Bowie & Bing Crosby doing "Little Drummer Boy (Peace on Earth)".

Also, I believe no one has matched Run-DMC's version of "Christmas in Hollis".

2. Les Brown's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy"
I first heard it on muzak at a Thruway service area one December night a few years ago. It was creepy and cool and it took me a while to track it down, not knowing what the band was. I found it on "Christmas Cocktails," a great CD from the Retro Lounge series.
I also like Cartman's "O Holy Night" and the ones you already mentioned except Run-DMC cuz I haven't had the pleasure.
