Hey! My Mom got me a autographed copy of Ralph Nader's book
It's the one 'Crashing the Party' about his run for POTUS in 2000. Spare me the "He destoryed the election" bullshit. Gore still won besides the fact his running mate cost him WV, OH and TEN. I love this gift and my Mom is actualy a * supporterBTW
:wtf:I know that's what I say everytime:shrug:

1. Did you throw it in the fireplace?
Seriously, I used to like Nader in a way but he has become a moron in my mind since 2000.

4. Nader started as a good person.
But then the money and power went straight to his head, and turned him into an absolute asshole.

9. It's to bad people hate Ralph for lies that were told to them
Edited on Thu Dec-25-03 02:43 PM by sasquatch
Al Gore still won the election. The person that costed Al the most was Lieberman's DINO ass. Ralph just wants his party to go back to supporting the people not republican intrest. I think Ralph made his point and the Dems finaly get it.

The only guys this website's author doesn't nail is Dean, Kerry, Clark, and so far Lieberman.

He totally savages Bush*.

22. Exactly.
And the point is that Nader is a liar, union-buster, rich asshole.

Who only wants to ensure that Bush* gets elected again in his delusions that he's a "viable" candidate for president.

13. Replace "Nader," with "Gore," and you're talking about yourself.

Among the dozen or so reasons I just said "no" to Gore in 2000: NAFTA, GATT, and a right-wing running mate.

14. I thought Gore was a dork...
Long before he became VP.

That totally asinine "senate hearing" he let his clueless WIFE chair on dirty words in popular music showed me right then and there jsut what a total asshole Gore is.

The only bigger asshole in the 2000 election was Bush*.

16. But you voted for him anyway?

Well, that was your right, just as it was my right to say "fuck you" to the new center-right Democratic Party and vote for Nader. With any luck, the Democrats learned the hard way that they are *not* entitled to my vote simply because they suck a little bit less than the Republicans.

Personally, I'd rather we stop looking back three years and look ahead to 2004. After all, our common goal *is* to get Bush's ass out of our White House!

Now, what do you say we join forces and kick some Republican ass next year?

23. A Small Taste...
Bill Clinton: Where do we begin? With Monica Lewinsky, of course. But there's other stuff besides adultery: admitted pot smoking, draft dodging, shady failed Whitewater development. His wife Hillary has the more significant scandal: the miracle $100,000 commodities profit. Bill's character: The ultimate baby boomer, just wanna go along with the crowd guy. Wilder accusations - involvement in murder of Vincent Foster, cocaine use, supporting CIA drug/money laundering operation at Mena, Arkansas?

They're expressly non-partisan.

George W. Bush, Jr.:
-- His top aides illegally exposed a CIA agent to coverup lies about Iraq
-- Lied to congress and used forged documents to get approval for war in Iraq
-- Convicted of drunk driving, and lied repeatedly to cover that up.
-- Lied under oath to stop a private lawsuit.
-- Covered up Saudi aid to 9/11 hijackers
-- Bush's Palestinian business partner got access to the first President Bush and U.S. National Security Adviser Scowcroft soon after buying part of Bush Jr.'s failed oil company. Since then he has visited Bush Jr. in the White House and been investigated for links to Islamic charities and companies funding al Qaeda and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
-- Made millions from losing businesses, bailed out by his dad's friends.
-- Steered tens of millions of Texas state tax dollars to his campaign contributors, now steering billions of US tax dollars to his cronies and contributors.
