Good LORD! There are 61 people in my Granny's house already!
More are on the way, with arrival times staggered between now and noon (Christmas dinner). Holidays always remind me that we breed like bunnies in this family! :P

13. She loves every minute of it!
About every 10 minutes she says "Look at that and tell me I've not been well and truly blessed!" :)

12. And I thought it was bad here with 12 people!
How does your granny feed all those people? I'm not just talking food, but dishes, flatware, glasses.

Have fun!

There's the 'main table' with her 'good china', then there are all the other tables with whatever else there is available. And no dishwasher, either, mind... :)

21. I thought the family gatherings Ive been to were big dude
and these include my first and second cousins and shit, and thats only 40 people I guess. if it was my ma's family, then it would be bigger than again many of her aunts and uncles died young without kids.

31. Think of all the garbage from this!!!!
Aside from the food, drinks, etc., there is the gift wrapping to go out. One of my garbage carts is already full -- and the trash was just picked up yesterday.

Sounds like a great gathering, Paddy. I will be with a group 1/10th that size later today.

27. We have a goose, 3 hams, 2 turkeys and 3 beef roasts.
Gran 'subcontracts' the hams, turkeys and beef roasts to various relatives, but insists on doing the goose herself! *drool* :)
