HTML help please. How do I make the font size bigger for a message?
Edited on Thu Dec-25-03 01:35 PM by Booberdawg
I want to type a message to someone in bigger font, and I've done it before, but the DU directions are not clear.

Can a DUer help me out here?

Linda

1. Depends how big you want it
[font size=3], [font size=4], [font size=5], and [font size=6]
will enlarge the text. The default font size is [font
size=2], incidentally.

4. Type it out this:
Edited on Thu Dec-25-03 02:02 PM by A HERETIC I AM
Text
mary had a little lamb

as opposed to

mary had a little lamb

1st type the bracket " < "[br />then the words
"font size" and the number you want (1,2, 3 etc)and then a closing bracket " ] "
then type your text
at the end of the text type another bracket " < "[br />a forward slash " / " then the word "font" and a closing bracket " ] "
when you post your message it will look the way you want it to to the recipient. you can check it by clicking "Preview message"
hope that helps

6. Actually I thing I have to adjust on my end of things
I don;t want everyone else all freaked out over huge text.. I did set mine large here and with my magnifying thing, I can read them.. Please don't make everyone else nuts with huge type.:)

It's really only hard when I type into the reply box. That cannot be made bigger..

Just my luck. the spell checker starts up and it doesn't matter since I can't read IT :eyes:
