I HATE feeling like this. Totally my own fault---I take full responsibility. Luckily, my good friend who I thought I pissed off called me today and was very nice...so all is good.

1. Was your good friend drunk too?
A drunken blowout usually dissipates after a few hours of sleep.

3. I have that problem..
even if I didn't do anything bad at all, I ALWAYS feel guilty. This is mainly why I don't go out drinking anymore, or have more than one or two if I do. It's a control issue with me.
Now, I'll drink at home..but not too much either. The only one I have to apologize to then is my loving and patient husband, bless his heart.

4. anybody try this? i got this tip from Brooke Shields
i know this sounds really wacked out.....but she said this on a talk show about 10 years ago.

if you get drunk, clean your whole house before you go to bed. Whatever you have to do...vaccuum, organize your desk, clean dishes, etc. When you wake up you won't feel as bad.

Now, i'm not an obsessive compulsive, but i think it does work. Somehow, when you wake up in the morning, and everything is so neat and organized, you don't feel as guilty.

does this sound crazy? lol

5. It makes perfect sense.
Except that she's probably got a cleaning service that comes in a couple of times a week. When she says "clean" I bet she doesn't mean down on her hands and knees scrubbing the basement floor, then off to clean the two bathrooms. She means tidy up.
