I know giving is the best part of Christmas
Edited on Thu Dec-25-03 08:00 PM by God_bush_n_cheney
but I didn't get one thing...nada. I picked the gifts I gave very carefully. Everyone loved the gifts I gave...they weren't much but given from the heart and with love. I didn't even get a lump of coal. Christmas sucks. Termite didn't even suprise me. What gives?

Oh wait. Greatauntoftriplets. Did give me something.

:loveya:

EDIT: I am gonna go drink more of the spiked egg nog and go to bed.

Didn't a Kentucky liberal contribute to your West-Coast campaign?

You need more? Well, bourbon has always been a "Kentucky" enterprise and Wild Turkey and Maker's Mark is near by, althouh Jack Daniel's is a little more of a drive.

On edit: I didn't get one thing either....

3. I am just being childish I know...
but even one little thing to open would have been nice. No one from home sent me a card or called either. I guess I am persona non grata.

Yes I think a Kentucky liberal did donate. Thanks

6. Let Me Know When You're Going To Celebtare
I don't know about "sin-taxes" in your area, but a 13-dollar Carton of Cigarettes in my area cost me fifty in Chicago and I think I can arrange retail cost plus shipping for a good cause.

2. Look at it this way
I didn't get any gifts today, either. But I did see the utter surprise and delight on the faces of my neighbors when Capt. George (NOT Bush), the ringleader, presented them with enough money to buy another vehicle. The good Capt. had set up a fund at a local bank, and about 20 neighbors pitched in with money. That I was a small part in my neighbor's happiness was the best gift I could have been given.

a robe and some slippers. I spent the morning reading, and the afternoon watching SNL reruns with my oldest son. When the other son showed up, I watched them play a chess tournament. I'm heading off to wash dishes and curl up with a good book; the party's over and I'm on my own again.

Not much in the way of material goods, but plenty of warmth and laughter. I'm passing some along to you:

Merry Christmas, GB&C!

15. I honestly don't care about getting anything...
..but I love to give gifts. I mean I just love it. A person reminded me recently that different people "feel" love differently. Some people really feel it through words, some through gifts, some through affection, and probalby other ways and most people probably do a bit of all of it. For some people getting gifts from others is one way they "hear" or "feel" love. For me, its not a very big way. I mean, I'll be gracious and happy about any gift I get, but I don't mind not getting anything. But I love to give gifts to people that I love, its almost a gift for me in itself.
