Local Phone service/What the hell do I do now?
I currently have local service and DSL through AT&T. I just tryed to move my service to our new address, only to be told that they don't service that area. I called the local chamber of commerce and they said I would have to go with someone like Verizon or Vonage. But don't I need a local line to keep my DSL? I'm so confused.

Go ahead, do the kind thing, just shoot me.

1. Wish I could help you.
I'm trying to get DSL through Bell South, since that my phone provider and so far, DSL is not available in my area.

3. i have VoIP and DSL without local phone service...
i have some kind of setup that turns my regular phone jack into a data-only line. i get DSL through it, but no local phone service. Vonage handles the local stuff.
