Doin' the Full Monty
Went amateur stripping again last night. Came in third - again. It was the winner's birthday (plus she was a first-timer and cute) and the second place winner was semi-pro (ie. a regular at amateur-strips all over town).

Went better than last time except the music ran out before I was finished, but they brought me back and gave me the extra 30 seconds I needed to get down to nothing. I also remembered to untie my shoes ahead of time (actually, I left them backstage).

Frankly, I think I need lessons.

Don't think I'd do that, although I have considered posing nude for an art class. Dumb, huh? I'd be far less scrutinized if I were nekkid in front of a bunch of drunks than art students. You know, they say that the brush adds 10 lbs.

But in my early 20's I donned the ol' g-string m'self. It was fun, but I probably could have made more $$$ in my early to mid 30's during my major iron pumping days.

12. Slip-on shoes, Trog
remember the slip-on shoes next time!

Women have certain advantages in these types of contests because their underlayers are more elaborate and usually more visually appealing, there's more things they can take off (hats, gloves, etc.) and the whole unpinning-your-hair and shaking your head thing works like a charm, especially with very long hair. So coming in third in a contest with both genders is pretty darn good.

Next time, bring your own music. It'd bug the hell out of me to have to use music that I hadn't practiced with.
