Any Jericho fans in the Lounge?
I watched the first episode out of curiosity on cbs.com and now I'm pretty hooked. Now there sure may be better end of the world fare out there, but this is turning into a fun little mystery of what the hell is going on, what happened to the U.S., who nuked us, who is Hawkins and who does he work for, among many others. And I can say I don't have a clue yet, but am really excited to see what happens. Anybody else into this show? Anybody have theories as to what is going on, etc.?

1. I enjoy it,
but I have to reserve comment until I watch last week's episode on iTunes. My Tivo only recorded half of it for some reason. I do find it troubling that the only black guy in town is the evil one.

2. I don't see him as evil although I can see where you
are coming from. Hawkins has been very helpful to the town in mnay ways. We just are not certain where his loyalties lie, who he works with, and what his goals are. Ambiguity is not always evil.

6. I was bothered by that too
Though I didn't see him so much as "evil" but merely "suspicious". It's still a very stereotypical setup.

3. Could be promising

Interesting to watch it as it develops - though the friendly picket fence niceness of some of the people is beginning to grate.

In all probability you would be speaking to other "survivors" through your letterbox for the first couple weeks / month or so, gun or knives or some kind of weapon in hand - not harvesting corn, sad but true!!

Though have to admit - I am waiting quite eagerly to find out what really happened

5. Probably true
This may not represent what would happen int his situation. For a small town, I suspect it may be what happens, but with more of a "we don't want any outsiders around here" attitude. So what are your thoughts on the mystery of it?

And welcome to the DU!
