Project Runway fans/old Lifter fans/Jeffrey's runway music
If anyone's interested in the music Jeffrey used for his runway, you can find it at www.facecrime.com. Go to the store section.

It's called Swing.

And if anyone remembers Lifter from the mid 90's (they were on the fringe of "making it" but didn't quite get there), you can also find their one album, Melinda, available for download there, as well as the demos for what would have been their second album. Jeffrey was their bass player.

I've been talking here and there with the lead singer, Mike, and I just want to help them out if I can. According to Mike, they might be doing a second album. I'm not sure how Jeffrey thinks he's going to do that and build his business, but there you have it.

And if you're on MySpace, you can also snatch some free downloads off their page, including the original version of Swing.

2. Me too. But it hasn't been easy on the reality show message boards
I've never seen such venom! People joking about his former addiction. People joking about his attempted suicide. I actually got myself banned from Television Without Pity because I couldn't stop myself from commenting on the opinions of the other posters, a no no over there. But my God!

It's hard to explain what it is about the guy. But I love him too. I sort of ended up in the news because of him actually. Well, sorta. A comment he left on my Myspace page ended up in the news after NY Magazine reported that Laura accused him of cheating. I commented to him that Laura could kiss my shiny metal ass. He responded with a comment about not believing everything you read in the media, and the damn AP picked up on the thing. Freaked me out.

I sent him one other message before that, which he answered politely and very promptly. I know he could be a jerk sometimes, but there was something about him I found touching, like there was something under the surface. I dunno. I'm just very glad he won.

And I've loved "Swing" since before I knew it was his runway song. It went well with his ghost theme, I think.

3. jefferey understood/understands media.
he's very talented and i loved his collection.

you've filled in a little of his history -- which is fascinating.

i think he's a great, complicated talented guy -- and many talented folk are complicated.

i've re-watched the episode with angela's mom -- and it wasn't evil after all.

it was some confrontational because it was personal -- a lot on the line.

but he's really fine.
