I saw Pirates of the Caribean and the second Tomb Raider movie. Ate lots of shortbread.

2. Hey I fell asleep during Pirate of the Carribean last night!

Not cause it was boring, I was really enjoying it. But it was soooo late and I was too tired.

Seriously I tend to stay away from the boxing day sales, people get killed at them things.

I did watch it on the news last night (it is the 27th here in Oz), and one guy picked up a decent fridge for $200.

7. Books

Coles was having a 75% off sale.

I got three Stephen King hardcovers for $3.00 each and bunch of other stuff. Three huge bags of books, mostly hardcover for $38.00.

8. Hunkered in all day.

Mom came over for lunch. Apart from that, I just played my new "Simpsons Hit and Run" game all day--why the HELL would I need to go out?

We never do the blow-outs. Those people are insane. I had a friend who worked for a mall stereo store, and he made about $3000 in commissions every Boxing Day.

I can't think of a discount deep enough for me to get bumped, crunched, rushed and bored enough to get it.
