WOOHOO!!! Delaware is no longer the only state without a Commericial Airport
I can now fly to Atlanta non-stop on Delta. Hell I could have gotten my upcoming flight to Tampa on Delta and it was about the same price as my flight out of Baltimore.

But still, we are no longer the only state without a commericial airport!!

Who wants to visit me? ILG is our Airport Code!!!

1. Isn't that a bit dangerous?
I mean, is Delaware BIG enough for a plane to land?

4. Once could say that about Virginia and REPUBLICANS
I mean how many Fundie Televangalists call Virginia home?

We don't seem to have nutjobs like Robertson or Falwell in our state

15. I dream longingly about that day!
Maine fits in better with the Canadian Atlantic region than the rest of New England in my opinion. Plus I think Canada is our largest trading partner.

That, and I'll be able to say eh and aboot legitimately then too!

7. Glad you have the service...
I remember them making a big deal out of that when they origianlly planned it. I'm certain the flight will be on one of our connection carriers, but still it gives you another travel option.

13. Does this mean you got an airport, or that another state got rid of theirs?
Congratulations on being able to fly more conveniently!

14. We've always had an airport
Our National Guard is also stationed here and it was more of a private airport stocked with the private jets of all the Bank CEOs coming to & from Wilmington.
