It's not a happy day for Dems in Idaho.

Having to say "Governor Otter" is going to make me choke on the words every time.

"Representative Bill Sali" will do the same.

Also, the voters of this state overwhelmingly voted for the marriage amendment.

I was fearful of the same here in Michigan with DeVos running for Gov.

We'll change people's minds...we will. One at a time.

My sympathies go out to LIW, and we can't forget about some of the other crap that went down in the wake of an incredible day overall (Tom Reynolds winning in NY {my Mom's home district}, Michelle Bachman in Minnesota, Tammy Duckworth losing in IL to some lousy VFW-endorsed jerk that never served a day in his life, et.al.)...

We've still got Olympia Snowe but at least she's a moderate :sarcasm:

Overall it's been great but there have been little pockets of 'you're kidding' here and there.

Colorado went to a Dem for governor, which is nice...but I'm gonna choke on Representative Lamborn. I'd like to choke him, but that would involve getting closer than I want.

Lying, cheating, rude, unconscionable, thoughtless repuke...in every sense of the word.

And the same-sex ban passed. And the domestic partnership resolution didn't. And it's still illegal for a person over the age of twenty-one to possess a small amount of marijuana. And I can't believe...I can't believe how short-sighted and STUPID some of these voters can be.

Our new district looks like a box with a stick over the top --| |-- and of course the arms are solid Republican.

It was 50/50 last night

But of course the candidate I was out campaigning for lost when the results from the one arm (which sticks way out into the countryside) put her opponent over the top :cry:

But at least we kicked out tricky Ricky, so we have that going for us.

All state offices are still Repuke-Gov Goodhair, KBH, atty gen, lt gov, etc.....
But at least we got some Dem reps.
