maybe more like a couple of weeks, at the least, just to get her fully used to the indoor scene...before exposing her to the huge change of the outdoors and a new territory. Cats really like to have their territories, as you know.
Put butter on their feet. Not sure why, but she swears by it. And any cat she has done that with, or has told people to do it( and they did, those that didn't seem to have the cat run away:shrug: ) Had happy kitties that did not try to go back to the old home.
Someone told me about this trick After I lost my cat.I had just moved into a new place and he took off after some nieghborhood cats and never came back.I am convinced that was because he didn't know where home was.The butter would have given him a way home. I hope he got adopted by someone.Or should I say I hope he adopted someone?!?
