I just was on hold for 10 minutes to talk about my overdue account. The Bastards just disconnected me! That's it they're not getting any of it back now bwhahahaa!

I saved enough during high school to be able to go to University for 2 years with no worries... of course... I gotta save for the years after...

5. In Brazil that's illegal, and harassment.

You'd be able to collect damages. All they can do is send letters and include you in bad credit databases. Also, if you own a house and live in it, they can't take it (unless it's the very thing you were supposed to pay for). Cars, second houses etc. are another story. But then again, not ALL kinds of debt can be collected by arresting possessions. I don't know all details.

6. Forget the telephone!
Make an appointment to see someone in person. Workout a new payment plan with them. Don't ignore them. You are not the first student to have problems with loans. Good luck!
