Should I build an ark?
Jebus, it's POURING here in Santa Cruz, CA. Coming down harder than I've seen in years....

As Bill Cosby said.... "What's a cubit?"

2. a "cubit" is the distance from your elbow to your extended middle finger.
about 18 inches.

I don't know where you'd get that much Gopher wood. Home Depot?

3. NO! Get out of the way NOW!
We've had 6.68" in Ben Lomond / Felton area between 4:00 PM yesterday and 4:00 PM today with an additional .80" in the last hour! We should be sliding down the hill toward you shortly. I'll wave as we go by headed into the bay. :scared:
I wish the lights would stop blinking and just go out already. I've spent all day trying to digitize some audio and video and every time I start to get somewhere the power fluctuates and I have to start over! AAAAARRRRGGH! I think I'll just give up until I can get everything on a generator.
Stay dry and pray we don't have an earthquake right now. :evilfrown:

8. Thanks!
Just hope we don't 'crash' there ala the Love Creek slide some years ago.
The rain is very similar to when that slide happened.
I'm surprised that Felton Grove hasn't flooded yet. Channel 11 had their truck there waiting about 3 o'clock this afternoon! They left headed to a small slide in Boulder Creek. I'll keep you posted on conditions up here. :)

6. 3 cubits and a span
Except we're all getting bigger now.
Make it 4 cubits and a span-and-a-half.
Don't forget the SPAM.
(not to be confused with span)

11. That's great!
I live down 101 in Cambria. Pourin' here too. In '95 I swam across Main St. Any moment now a tree will fall across a power line and poof! no electricity for days. Refrigerator becomes a science project. Good luck to you.
