Heterosexuals with SOs - prove your love to your mate!
The next time you go to the store, buy those 'special' personal items that only your SO can really use.

Men, can you stomach buying the Kotex? And women, can you stomach buying those weird "Trojan" things that can be made into cute balloon doggies but are really used for something rather different?

5. As soon as I turned 16, I bought pads and tampons for my sister and mom...
When I moved in with my best friend, a woman, I bought her tampons when it was my turn to go grocery shopping.

I don't see what the big deal is.

4. I would argue two things about condoms:
1. They exist for the benefit of both parties, so it's not a man thing or a woman thing, even if the man does wear them.
2. If you cannot stomach buying condoms, absent a latex allergy, religious objection or similar, you should not be having sex regardless of your gender.

6. you do know that condoms are used by 2 people, right?
tampons/pads are usually used by only 1, where condoms are used by 2. Tampons don't compare to condoms. In many ways.

7. Well Hypno
Does this count, when my wife was still around I have gone to the store and bought tampons and Midol. Of course I am a male nurse so everyone thinks I am half gay anyways.

8. Since I'm beyond the age for tampons and pads,
there's no need for my SO to use condoms. Unless he's fooling around, in which case he would want to buy them himself. But I buy his denture adhesive for him. Does that count?

10. I've bought plenty of Kotex before. Pads, condoms, pantyhose...
none of that bothers me. I say if it's in the grocery store in plain view, it's not embarrasing.

11. Been there, done that.
I've bought Kotex before. I do feel kind of silly doing it, but what's the harm in that?
