2. Reminds me of an old (possibly apocryphal) story about Eleanor Roosevelt.
She was dining next to some Japanese diplomat during the time the UN was being formed and asked him when he (meaning Japan) had last had an election. His alleged response went something like this: "This morning, before blekfast."
