Britney & K-Fed (Fed-ex) to issue joint statement: "There is no sex tape." And a nation weeps.

TMZ said about an hour ago that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will issue a joint statement later today that will deny, again, the rumor that they made a sex tape while on their honeymoon. TMZ says:

Reps from the divorcing couple tell us that both Britney and Kevin want to put an end to rumors that K-Fed is out peddling a sex tape for some quick cash. They have agreed to jointly issue a statement, hoping to put an end to the flurry of stories that such a tape exists.

All day yesterday there was the rumor that Britney was gonna get preemptive and release the tape for free, which never made a bit of sense, but whatever. These two have done nothing but lie to the public for about a year now, so this doesn't really settle anything, except that hopefully it will never be released. I'd rather see a tape of my Starbucks dude using his **** to stir the coffee I'm drinking right now than a tape with a grunting Kevin Federline.

4. I hear ya...

...but given the fact that a solid 90 to 95 percent of what I post is hardcore political stuff, I try to make at least one trip to The Lounge daily to "cleanse the palate" with the latest on K-Fed, TomKat, etc...

The sad thing is that I know people who actually "care" about this stuff...but rest assured, I'm not one of them. It's just a goof.

PS: EXCEPT for the Jessica Alba threads. I really believe that one day she and I will be husband and wife.
