Which one sticks out in your mind as the "premium incarnation", by which all others are found lacking? Which one was the Definitive Doc? The Timeless Timelord? True King of the Tardis?

I LOVED Tom Baker...and went to every Dr Who convention I could in the 1980s. Luckily he came to St Louis alot back then because they had a kickin' DW fan club in the form of the CIA (Celestial Intervention Agency or something like that). One reason I ended up in St Louis, I met a couple of friends who were really into Dr Who and we ended up sharing a house for a couple of years.

Those were good times, going to DW conventions. Back then we had to sit up all night to ensure a front row seat. Now rich people can pay more for their tickets to the con and be guaranteed better seat than those without so much cash or credit. Kind of takes the fun out of conventions because then you don't get to know your fellow con goers who are in line with you.

I miss cons!
