Teachers... what gift would you like to get from your students?
I have a 4 year old preschooler and he has 4 teachers (2 class teachers one music teacher and one speech teacher) I'm looking for gifts ideas... and what NOT to get yall THANKS!
but I like to give the teachers gift certificates for the local office supply store.A lot of teachers spend their own money on classroom supply's. My father in law was a teacher,he even substituted after retirement,he always said"no coffee mugs".
:) Seriously, though, gift cards are always nice. I'm compiling a wish list of things to buy with the inevitable Christmas-time gift cards I usually get from students.
NOT to get anything that looks like a teacher. Nothing with apples or pencils or numbers or letters, etc. Generally speaking, we hate that stuff. A gift certificate is nice--maybe to a nice restaurant or a great bakery. Several parents could go in together and get one of those nice Nomination Italian charm bracelets. I guess what I'm saying is this: Buy something you would like to receive yourself. Teachers have an especially tough job these days.
