Freaks of Nature!!!
This is my sister's dog (although related to my dogs), "Bug." She is a spayed female and had been at the time of this picture for several years. The little "hanger-on" is Moco, Bug's kitten. Moco showed up in the Bug's back yard and promptly claimed Bug as Mom. Literally!

5. We had a dog who claimed a kitter an her puppy. No nursing, but the dog used to
"groom" the cat (which had long hair) by nibbling the cat with her front teeth. The cat loved it. And they slept together every night.

Moco still goes to the dog first in greeting when she comes in the yard or the house.

edit to say I have a dog NAMED Dumbass, not that I was calling you that!!! I read it and did a huge oh shit!
