Hell, during my first marriage, the sex was the only thing that was good, so we did plenty of that. Even did the break-up sex thing.

I'm not "married" now but we're just like a married couple, but the nookie hasn't dryed up.. quite the contrary.

But the frequency is mostly due to the fact that, as we get older, our backs and hips and shoulders get a wee bit achy and protestful of too much vigorous movement.

I am another one of the "mismatched drive" crew. Meaning, I'd be happy with once a week (really, I want it 3-4 times a week ) but am lucky to get it once, maybe twice a month. It wasn't uncommon in the first years of this to go 1-2, up to 4 months with no sex.

The only huge fight we've ever had dealt with this very issue - We had the entire house to ourselves for the first time in a long time and we hadn't done anything in weeks, so naturally, the time is right. Right?

She wanted to clean the house instead.

Needless to say, things just went 90 degrees-downhill in a rocket following that.

Oh yeah, and we didn't do the "make-up" sex thing until about 2 weeks later.

I would say "no" to that question.

However, with my ex-wife it did. Before we got married, she was almost insatiable. After we said, "I do" it was like somebody turned a switch to "off" in her head. Granted, we had some outside issues, but it really was like a switch was turned off...

My husband wants to do the wild thing two to three times a day. I'd be happy with three to five times a week. If anything, the frequency has picked up.

and the two people involved. People from whom I've heard that often have unhappy marriages. On the other hand, as much as I love chili with chipotle pepper, if I had it for dinner every night for thirty years I'd wish for something else, now and then. I got called a "fucking bitch" once too often in the first year of my marriage which pretty much killed any desire I felt, forever.
