Happy New Year everyone!

Best wishes for health and happiness, a landslide Democratic win and an end to ShrubCo, a progressive Irish Presidency of the European Union, justice for the Patriot Act and Guantanamo detainees and the 9/11 victims and their families, and much much better things for the Iraqi and Afghani peoples.

6. Paris must be awesome in the snow.
Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
I just left there on Tuesday and it was a VERY special Christmas. Paris was even more beautiful at this time of year, and the Strasbourg festival was so special. There was snow on the ground between Strasbourg and Paris.
People were friendly and helpful.
