6. If it weren't for the BCS, which really stands for

"bowl championship shit," there wouldn't be any of this "shared title" business, either. Someone's got to be able to come up w/ a workable college championship series.

Gotta root for the Big Ten, even the Weasels, but this is one Spartan who can't lose - If Michigan wins, the Sugar Bowl is for all the marbles, and the Big Ten gets props; if Michigan loses, well, Michigan loses, which is always joyful (of course, they have never lost a game; the refs have just cheated them out of a perfect 100 year record. Just ask 'em). Should be a good one, anyway.

Yes, I'm rooting for Michigan today, but mostly because it's Michigan, it's Southern Cal and it's the Rose Bowl. That, and because the Chips have bitten the Big One at football for the last eight or ten years and couldn't qualify for the American Standard Toilet Bowl.

Should have been LSU vs USC.

OU couldn't even win it's own conference championship.

They need to change the BCS to automatically strike any team from the championship game who can't win their conference. I don't give a damn if it was the only loss and the next two teams eligible had three loses each. You don't win your conference, go play somewhere else.

And I like OU and I'm saying that.

12. I understand your point,

but that hurts the teams in the best conferences. If a team's only loss is to a higher rated team than another teams only loss, who is the better team?
That said, I am all for a play off system.
