Myth Busters on Discovery Channel
I'm watching this program and learned something very interesting. It was supposedly an urban myth that poppy seeds can cause a drug test to be positive. Well, these guys (I don't who they are, as I turned it on in the middle) did tests with poppy seed bagels. And, lo and behold, their drug tests all turned up positive. So I would advise anyone who is facing a drug test to stay away from the poppy seeds.

1. Mythbusters is the best reality show... EVER!
Their experiments aren't very scientific, but it's a riot to watch!

Don't miss the Mythbusters marathon on Discovery Channel all day today!

2. Love the show
Next up is the Pop Rocks/Soda myth which is obviously untrue. That won't stop these guys though. :)

4. I just watched the Chevy Impala segment
What a disappointment. I thought they were going to take the car airborne.

I can't believe these guys can make enough money to keep a show like that on the air.

6. They probably cut most of the overhead by...
...owning a special fx studio & shop. They had all the tools, etc, so all they have to do is pay for materials.

I hope this show stays on forever - it really is one of the most entertaining shows on TV!

5. I've been waiting for somebody to start a thread on this one...
This is the best freakin' show on TV right now!

Ok, I exaggerate. NOW with Bill Moyers is actually the best show on TV, but for some reason I find myself endlessly amused and entertained by Mythbusters.

The two 'hosts' are strangely telegenic and seem to have a pretty genuine chemistry between them. And the 'experts' they find to go into the details of their experiements seem to always be pretty good and interesting too.

If you liked the poppy-seed segment, wait till you see the 'stinky car.' And the Alcatraz segment was actually pretty inspiring.

9. They remind me of the Lone Gunmen
Hot, in a geeky sort of way.

8. I'm sitting here mesmerized
What a way to start the New Year. I had never seen the show before, but I flipped onto Discovery during the poppy seed episode and have watched it through the electrocution by peeing on the third rail episode. What a hoot.
