My boss just gave me a sewing machine!!!

My boss just gave me a sewing machine!!!
It's my Christmas present. He called me on the phone and said "I'm in the parking lot, and I have a present for you in my car. I could bring it in, but you'd just have to lug it back out... so if you could meet me...."

So out I went. He was still wrapping it when I got to the lot. (He said I moved too quickly, but honestly, I didn't want to leave my boss standing out in the parking lot!)

So there it was, half-wrapped.

I've wanted one for a while. I can't wait to start making my own clothes.

2. Oh cool!
I have a sewing machine and while I don't use it terribly frequently, it's very nice. It's great for doing batches of mending and altering, and I often made my kid's halloween costumes with it. You're going to have alot of fun, I think!

3. If you sew even half as well as my aunt, you'll be getting lots of compliments and quite a few
requests. Don't give in. They'll take up all your free time and you won't have enough time to make your own!

A coincidence...I got my MIL one for xmas too...she has about 6 of them, but they are all broken...she works those things to DEATH...:D
