My dog is a happy dog!
I do my best to keep him happy on a daily basis, but he was especially happy today. He hopped into the car with the family humans and went to an outdoor, abandoned ampitheater in the middle of nowhere for a road trip. There was a nature trail, and also many other interesting things to investigate. There were no other humans around for probably 30 miles.

I've never seen him so happy. He's 8, and was acting like a little puppy.

Happy New Year!

1. Good for you!
Dogs love to be dogs, of course.

2. Our two were in 7th heaven today.
Both of us home all day, a late morning in bed, lots of cuddling and tummy-rubbing, etc.; they're both napping with Tony on the couch, as we speak, so Sid (our cat) has taken up residence on my lap. :)
