Did the cats and dogs show more Christmas spirit than the people?

They did for me, anyway. Except for the 2 youngest children, who were very excited to see me and be with me, most of the love expressed was from the cats and dogs. The people did their expected tasks of buying gifts, wrapping gifts, cooking food, and all that, but it was more out of obligation than love, and not a whole lot of genuine interaction or simply the joy of being together. That was left to the cats and dogs!
