2. Tried it at a party last summer

Pretty cool actually. It helps if the cap has a restriction, like a hole drilled in it. More pressure.

I noticed that both Coke and Mentos were sponsors of the video. I can imagine the guys at the ad agency laughing with glee at the thought that they could get people to watch a 3-1/2 minute advertisement if they made it look like an amateur production.
