My parking lot pet peeve
Those of you who live in big cities have to do whatever it
takes to get a decent parking spot, but in small towns there's
ample parking everywhere.

Go to any supermarket. The parking lot isn't very large.
It's a small town after all. But almost every time I go,
there's some jerk who's just spotted somebody getting into
their car, about to leave a prime spot. They stop and wait
for that spot, even though the lot is half empty, and they
could easily park four or five spaces farther out. But whey
just can't resist that up-front parking place.

On a pretty day, I'll park on the outer edges of a lot, even
when there are better spots, and walk across the parking lot.
As I'm doing this, you can bet there's another guy up front,
waiting for granny to load her groceries into the car, and
(eventually) pull out of the spot. Meanwhile, I've parked way
off, and made it into the store long before this ass-clown.
And I'm handicapped! I've got the permit and everything.
Still, these losers are so fucking lazy they'll spend half
their day waiting for a spot twenty feet closer to the store.

Granted: If you're a woman, alone after dark, it's completely
justified. And sure, make a pass to see if a good spot is
sitting empty, but for crying out loud, how freaking lazy do
you have to be to not see how much time you're wasting (while
you're blocking other people)?

1. How about the people at disney world waiting for the prime spot?
They are going to do nothing but walk at the park, yet they try to shave a half-block off their trek to the ticket counter. People blow sometimes.

2. I had a lady in a giant SUV almost ram me when she thought >
> I was going to steal the close-in space she was waiting for. I was just trying to get past her lazy ass and break up the jam she was creating.
