And those miraculous DU lounge vibes work again: I got the job!!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! No more slave wages. No more temp hell. This should've happened a few weeks ago, but the headhunter (I learned) was dicking both sides around. I had an angry meltdown on the phone with them yesterday, and magically everything for the offer was finalized around lunchtime today. Amazing what happens when they see a $6k commission about to go bye-bye.

But, that's no longer important. I'll be back in good shape financially very soon, and have a job working for wonderful people in a great location.

It's a very, very happy new year so far!!!
