1. I have no winter pictures because winter isn't coming this year
I've put away my winter coat.

I had the air conditioning on in my car on Christmas Eve and I had on a short sleeved tshirt on New Year's Day.

Damn you Colorado with your greedy consumption of all the snow for the entire country!!! :)

2. We're skipping winter this year.
No pics to show you, but there are blossoms on the dogwood on my street. :wow: In PHILADELPHIA. In JANUARY.

7. That's a beautiful photo...
Not sure I'd want to shovel it, but looking at it is nice.

Saw on the news that it was 61 in D.C. today.

4. I haven't seen tree buds but my spring flowers are starting to grow
I noticed today that my irises are a good 2-3 inches out of the ground already.

9. On our local news tonight they showed some bushes that were blooming...
I don't know what kind they were, but they had small yellow flowers or flower-like growths. Some gardening guru was on camera saying if we have two winters like this one, it'll kill over a lot of vegetation in the area.

I noticed the fields are turning green out in the rural areas. Unreal.

8. The news here reported that the cherry blossoms were blooming
in Brooklyn.

Not a good sign.

10. No pattern change predicted here until..
MAYBE around the 20th. It felt like October or April here today - not good. Global warming deniers are ignorant or protecting corporate interests.

11. I think that we may have to pull out the lawn mower
here in, usually cold and snowy, Western NY. Grass is getting green..... lilac trees have little baby leaves on them. :scared:

12. I went out my back door last night and startled a few moths.
I had my window wide open driving around today too.

13. In NC, my camelias are blooming: they generally bloom in April
and one of the plants sometimes blooms again in October, if it's happy, but I've never seen any blooming in late December and early January before -- and right now a LOT of them are in bloom.

14. It was fifty degrees in Bangor, Maine today.
The few flakes of snow we got over the weekend are all gone and our grass is still green. The local PBS weather report called it "mud season" i.e. spring.

16. No winter pics here either...
from upstate/central new york...we haven't had winter yet!
Yup. Definitely, global warming is SUCH a hoax.
I just love it when people crow about how nice the weather is... I just want to shout at them, 'moron, do you have any idea what we're PAYING for your precious beautiful weather??'
Ugh.
