My sister had to have her appendix out last night...
:( My mother and I tried to call her at different times and could never get her. Mom called this morning to let me know she'd had to have an emergency appendectomy. I've tried to call her at the hospital several times and haven't been able to reach her, but I'll keep trying. Mom had just flown back to FL from NC yesterday and will fly back to NC tomorrow to take care of my sister's two daughters while she recuperates.

I've been in software training all day yesterday and all day today, but I'm on lunch break right now. That's why you haven't seen a lot of me the past couple of days. :P

Any good vibes will be appreciated! :D Thanks...

3. My appendix burst when I was 15.
I was already in the hospital being prepped for surgery but my appendix didn't want to wait.

My hopes for a speedy recovery for your sister.

7. Same thing happened to my brother the week before Christmas
He is just fine now; even played racketball the other day.

16. UPDATE---Sis is doing well.
:bounce: :woohoo: I talked to her last night, and she was still very groggy, but she's doing a lot better. Her appendix was infected but not septic yet, so they caught it in time. She'll be discharged either later today or tomorrow depending on what the doctor decides. :) Mom will be at her house today to take care of my nieces.

Emergency surgery is always a cause for concern, even if it is a routine think like the appendix. I hope all is going well. :hug:
