8. Hockey and football were only invented
to fill the gap between the World Series and Spring Training and give the sports writers something to do.

25. I really have not heard anything about them
But have not been checking much either. To be quite honest, the central could be a four team race this year, what with the Tigers back in the hunt, and Cleveland, although lacking some starting pitching, they still have a pretty solid lineup (my kingdom for Pronk in Twinstripes).

9. It's *way* too long
and I'm always upset with the Cubs management. Hendry needs to be strung up. They've got something like 19-20 pitchers on the 40-man roster and most of 'em are worthless.

6. We're gonna go up to Coors for a Rockies/Cubs game
when the Cubs come to town in August. I'm determined to make it to some Sky Sox games, too. And...this year's tax return is going to a trip to Wrigley.
