Ladies- have you shopped at H&M?
My friends who have access to the store have bought the CUTEST clothes there, and my MIL brought back some really nice stuff for my kids when she hit one out in Connecticut. We don't have a location here, but I'm thinking about stopping at one in Minneapolis, when I'm there in a couple weekends. Do they have alot of nice stuff? Is it reasonably priced? Just trying to decide if it's worth carving out time to go there during what promises to be a very busy trip.

6. Thanks, babe!
I've only seen a few representative samples of their wares, but what I did see was stuff I would DEFINITELY buy!

2. it's nice stuff and reasonably priced
but of course you will not find much in the upper ranges of size. Some of the stuff is too trendy, but you can find some good items that will stand the fashion trends.

7. Do they carry different inseams?
I wouldn't mind finding some pants, but I need a 6 or 8 long, and that can be tricky to find.

9. Oh goody!
I need to pick up a few pieces, so I'll make it a point to stop there. Where clothing purchases are concerned, I'm notoriously stingy, so I avoid places I know don't have stuff on the cheap.

14. Look at their collections on the H&M website
Decide for yourself: http://www.hm.com/us/

We have seven or eight H&M's in the Chicago area. Their midwest flagship store is on Michigan Avenue and it's amazing. Everything I buy there gets compliments. They're even great for basics like t-shirts, tank tops, lingerie, etc. Their markdowns are great too, last year I got a Karl Lagerfeld designed dress for $20.00!

15. cheaply made
but it will last 5-6 wearings, if you're lucky. I mean come on, what do you expect for a ten dollar shirt made in Cambodia?

16. You must be really hard on your clothes
I'm wearing an H&M t-shirt that's about four years old and is far better made than my American Apparel tees. All of the clothes I've bought there have lasted several seasons. They're accessories are surprisingly well made. My favorite yoga pants came from their sport collection over two years ago. They get washed and dried at least once a week and still look good. I'm not saying they're couture quality, but they sure beat the clothing I've bought from other supposedly "quality" retailers.
