Want to learn something new today, look inside....:)

I learned this little tidbit in January of 05, and I thought I would share this info...

Cows, when they cough, sound just like a human being coughing. Our neigbor across the street, owned at the time, 10 cows, and I was in our back room playing some Tekken Tag, and I swear...I heard somebody outside the window, cough...I would have bet huge amounts of cash, that it was a human who coughed. Mind you, this is roughly at 2am in the morning, so I was startled...

I get up...look out the window, don't see anything strange...I go into the living room grab old trusty, and my flashlight, and go outside to investigate...I can't find a damn thing...I spend about ten minutes outside, and its rather cold...I come back to the front porch, and heard the cough again, this time, I knew it came from across the street....and I light up the area, and all I see are cows...

Next day, I talk to a good friend of mine, and ask him if cows, when the cough, sound like a human coughing, and he said yes...

And yes, I've learned this when I was house sitting my sister's house. Next to it was a field full of cows. :hi:

at the time, was a 12 gauge, single shot...

But you know, cows really don't care about it. They're special this way.

I got it because of a situation that took place in summer of 04...to make a long story short...

Van cruised by numerous times, guy came up to the door with a gym bag...my friend Tom, and two of Tammys relatives were home(I was at Jay clinic)...

Tom answers the door, gym bag is loaded with crowbars...guy tells Tom if he knows any of the neighbors, and wants tom to draw him a map...guy says its for a school project for Crowder College...Tom tells dude to take a hike, and shuts the door...

There were 2-3 other guys in the white dodge van, and I know, petersond vs. 3-4 guys with crowbars, is bad news for me...but petersond+old trusty, vs crowbar gang...hmm, evens the odds. Plus, the vermin out here, whew....

That's like a scene from a bad movie. Glad it went well.

same van/guys gave four different stories...I talked to my neighbors that same day about the van/guy, and the guys told the neighbors different stories....from being insurance salesmen, encyclopedia salesmen, stuff like that....
