We probably aren't going to take these down.

10. Today is the 11th day of Xmas!
January 5th is the 12th day, and the 6th is Epiphany. So actually, the retailers and television programmers are soft for letting us off the hook early! :D

The Eastern Orthodox Christians celebrate Xmas on January 7th! Hence the reason my friend Nick's family had their tree up a WEEK into the New Year's. Just like our house! :loveya:

Their Epiphany is the 19th... hmmmm!

8. It's a bit sad for me that it's over
But unlike some Christmas fans, I really look forward to the other parts of the year. Christmas wouldn't be special if it came all the time. It's become commercial, but I have no problem with gift-giving and receiving as long as I don't fret too much about it. Christmas is not about materialistic stress.

12. You're more generous than I am
Just the mention of Christmas makes me want to put my fist through the wall. Need a year just to be ready to deal with the next one.

13. A year isn't long enough.
My house is still littered with Christmas detritus. I stepped on a K-nex at 1:30 a.m. in my bare feet. The cats are chewing up the nerf darts and then storing them in their food bowl for later.

I need at LEAST 18 months before the next one.
