I am so not in the Smallville demo....
I watched for a moment and i looked just like anyother teen soap opera...

Moody hunks, spunky gals, skimpy clothes, fashinable lingo....

90201 tree hill.....

1. A lot of people don't like the soap opera angle of it
what really kills it for me, is the Lana/Clark disaster, but...they broke up in season 5, so yay! I only had to endure that irritating character for 5 seasons...but...but, they brought her back for season 6! Damn...what a waste, I was hoping she would die off in season II....

There are a ton of good episodes, but there are a bunch of worthless ones...the biggest gripe is the repeat meteorfreak episodes...but there are FANTASTIC storylines, in the series....as a Superman fan, I am biased, but there have been some tweaks/twists, that have me wanting more, a LOT more...:D

:spank: No trash talking of supes dammit!....:D :hi: I haven't seen any of season 6, except the first episode....

I think its "awesome" that they are bringing in new characters, they just brought in Martian Manhunter a couple episodes back...I can't wait to watch season 6....:D

1. Flash aka Barry Allen

2. Mr.Mxyzpltk

5. Green Arrow

6. Huntress(I believe, they tweaked this one)

7. Morgan Edge

8. Martian Manhunter aka Jon Jonzz

9. Brianiac

10. General Zod

11. White Martians, I do believe Batista's character, was in fact a White Martian

12. Supergirl, sorta...


Those are the ones, that I remember them bringing in...there are probably a few I forgot...I think the first episode of 07 when be a Justice League type episode....

The main buzz around batman/wonderwoman, in the show is that the rights for both characters are owned by someone else, and the owners of those rights, hasn't let the smallville creators have carte blanche yet. I figured the creators would work in Wayne Enterprises in first, because of Lex and Luthorcorp stuff, it seemed to be an easy way to work in the Batman angle...

7. Yeah, early on it was overrun with "Freak of the Week" episodes
but it's gotten better (imho) since then. I do wish they'd give Lana the boot, though; watching the relationship between her and Clark got tiresome pretty quickly. OTOH, Michael Rosenbaum has been excellent as a young Lex Luthor.

Rosenbaum is great....He is probably the best talent of the younger crew. Also, the addition of Lionel Luthor(Lex's dad) aka John Glover was awesome. I love the mindplaying/brainwashing games/banter that Lionel/Lex participate in....:D

I was hoping Lana would get eaten by a shark, or something in season II...so far, the creators must be ignoring my emails....:D

I like it although I have been upset with the weakness of Lana Lang and some of the other women. It seems to me that Lana always needs to be helped out of situation. Other than that I have like the show.
