Poll question: What size shoe do you wear?
I wear a size 14, and although some of you ladies may be impressed by this the fact is it sucks for finding shoes, especially dress shoes.

15 wide, but some brands have better/different cuts, sometiems a 14w works, and other times, its way to tight, but I always...always have luck with the 15W's.....

11. I actually used to wear size 15
But for some reason my feet shrank, which I was grateful for since it allowed me to actually find some shoes in stores. Now I wear a 14 but it has to be WIDE.

17. No kidding, it is hard being a gal with large feet!
I would wear probably a women's 11, but I have the flattest feet on earth, so I have to wear an orthodic, so that makes it women's 12. Mens 10-10 1/2.

Luckily, it seems, a lot of sneaker types shoes, they make for women and men.

My feet are so big and flat they hold water back in the tub when I shower.

Why do your feet and ears get bigger when you get to be a geezer?

I usually try shoes on beforehand to make sure whether to get the smaller or larger size, but this is the general trend. It might be the whole panty hose versus socks issue.

26. It all depends on where I buy the shoes
and what style they are. The more expensive the shoe, the smaller the size. I've got a pair of snakeskin pumps that are a size 7, and then I've got a pair of el-cheapo pink pumps that are an 8.5.

Most of the time, I start at 8s and then move up or down accordingly.

I need some new shoes, now that I think about it...

:P

US size, that is, though there's some variation in sizing even within one manufacturer's product lines.

Big enough, but not quite so big that finding shoes is too great and ordeal...it used to be, but I think either feet are getting bigger (finding clothes to fit tall people used to be more difficult, too, and I guess there's supposedly an overall increase in height over the last few decades) or manufacturers are just recognizing the marketplace's diversity. I used to wear nothing but running shoes (with sandals, often, for field work in the tropics) but more recently I've started wearing the black 'Elvis/Beatles' zip-up dress boots out (I bought them for my work garb but I like the feel of them) so I'm occasionally dressier than ever before in my life, which isn't saying much. :D

Athletic footwear remain my first love, shoe-wise, and (good examples, anyway) are generally the best for our feet...

depending on the shoe. I just bought a pair of ankle boots at an outlet. Retail price: $70, outlet, $40, but on sale for $31. Then at the register, they gave me their "frequent buyers card" and marked the boots down another 40%!!!! I paid $19 for $70 dollar boots. Ask me if I'm pumped!!! :bounce:

I can wedge my feet into a 5 or 5.5, but am most comfortable in the 6.5 to 7 range. However, I buy boots in 8s, so I can wear thick socks.

My feet are humongously wide, however, as well being high-arched, and look rather blockish, so I tend to have trouble finding shoes for short but fat feet.

57. Believe it or not, I don't know how to answer!!
I'm always either 8 or 8.5... It's a problem when I want shoes on ebay, especially European-sized shoes that are converted using your groupings (7.5 -8, or 8.5 -9). I never wear 7.5 (or 9), but I answered 7.5 -8 because I'd like to think my feet aren't as long as they are.

(However, I always figured long feet are good in pointe shoes cuz they make your legs look longer!)
