nice kid - was a coupla years ahead of my kid on the Omaha Central High football team. Frequently comes back to Omaha to the old school, sets a good example & gives encouragement.

2. He and Donald Driver both seem to very community committed.
It's terrific to see that. I love Driver's personal story of living in a vehicle...and rising above. He just always seems so grateful which one doesn't see to often in high paid athletes. It's refreshing.

4. OOoooooh, it's gonna happen! I won a $50 bet with a friend of
my husband (who is a Vikings fan). He was so angry last week that he ripped his Vikings shirt to threads. I took the money and bought him a new NFC Division Champ Packer shirt. :7 He should get it this week.

I can just hear the endless "Mike Holmgren is back" stories. :eyes: I can't stand maudlin playoff coverage. JUST PLAY THE D&#^ GAME! :-)

He made me root against the Squawks when I lived there. But no way I'd pull for the Packers. ;-)

Damn they look good as of late. Their team is the one to beat in the playoffs. They could make it all the way, if they want. The true test will come soon, but I'll be rooting for them as long as they don't play my beloved Chiefs anymore. I rock out for the Packs each season as they're the only publically owned team left in the NFL and that pleases me to no end (unless they play my Chiefs.....then my darkside takes over and I can't stop my self, rooting for the home team to save us from oblivion and the darkness, dispair that will surely follow....wait, sorry there, got carried away)
