But why the hell are the people who put together that Lexus commercial depriving the sanitation industry of such promising employees? Geeze! "Hey, let's drop a car from the sky and then race another car past it! That will show people how good our car is!" WHA???

I know it's not about the game, but God's favorite team lost last night, and the two teams playing now are Satan's spawn, so I'm more emotionally vested in the commercials. :)

Surely you've heard the story? According to Don Meredith, the Cowboys left a hole in their stadium so God could watch his favorite team play.

I was under the impression the hole in the Texas Stadium roof was there because the stadium couldn't handle all the egos in Dallas. I didn't know God had a favorite pro football team.

My work here is done.

The point about the egos has some validity, though, as Don Meredith himself proved. :)

There was an article in the paper this week about Kiki Barber being so (justifiably) disgusted by the Eagles fans' abuse that he decided he had no reason to put up with it anymore, and it was time to retire.

And the legend grows. :rofl:

You guys are like the bad guy pro wrestlers. Everyone claims to hate them, but secretely they are the reason people follow wrestling.

Though some of it is hype. I watched the game where you guys supposedly cheered Michael Irvin lying motionless on the field. What the announcers missed was that the fans were silent when the camera zoomed in on Irvin, and only began to cheer when Irvin moved--that's the standard way a crowd reacts to an injured player on the field, to show encouragement. I know Iggle fans would never admit it, but there's a soft streak in there somewhere! (Or is that just my delusional optimism?) :rofl:

He lost one of the best QBs in the league and managed to make his team play better. Win or lose, I'm very impressed by the job he's done.

The Giants with a decent coach would be scary. I'm glad they have Tom Coughlin and Kevin Gilbride.

I really thought out season was overwith week 11 when McNabb went down and somehow they pulled it out these last 4 minutes. I think I held my breath for the last 2 minutes ESPECIALLY when they decided to run the clock down to 3 seconds and do the FG on 4th down instead of 3rd. But it was a great strategy which is why Andy Reid is a GOD!

Thank god they got Detmer back - he's awesome!
