Tonight I get one degree closer

To Kevin Bacon!

My friend Cindy, whom I shamlessly promote on my sig line or any chance I get, is opening for The Bacon Brothers at The Roxy. Kevin and his brother have a band and Cindy is currently on a mini tour in So Cal with them.

So I get to hang out and party with Kevin Bacon. My partner is going to say to him "I just loved you in 'Flashdance'!" My mom wants me to tell him how much she loved him on "Will & Grace". I'm just going to play it cool and not act all star struck like I normally do.

Does that make us all one degree of separation from him now? I agree with your mother, too, about his "Will and Grace" stint - pretty cool.

My mother and grandmother were CBS soap freaks. I remember taking naps in front of the TV during ATWT when it was black and white and only 1/2 hour long. I was hooked from an early age. I remember thinking he was going to do more, he was good!

7. Remeber when soaps had organ music??

"General Hospital" in the early 1970's was almost like a parody. I'd love to see some of the old tapes from that show.

10. I can still sing

the original ATWT song. I have forgotten all that have come since then but the original is forever in my brain. The organ music was fabulous! It kinda makes me sad, my mother and grandmother would always talk after their "stories" then call me and tell me what they decided. I miss them.. Anyway, tell Kevin hello and have fun.
